"PEAU D'AILLEURS" BY STARCK PARIS WINNER OF THE OLFACTORAMA 2017’S VIRTUOSITY PRIZE
« Reveal the best of perfume ». This is the objective of the Olfactorama Selection, which establishes an annual list of the most beautiful fragrances, products and initiatives launched during the year.
It is on a judgment that is both olfactive and artistic, that the 2017 edition designated "Peau d'Ailleurs" by Starck Paris for the Excellence Prize of Virtuosity.
Awarded among 350 perfumes evaluated for the selection, "Peau d'Ailleurs" is the fruit of the collaboration of Philippe Starck and the master perfumer Annick Ménardo.
“I wanted a perfume that you can’t remember because it doesn’t exist, that you can’t name because words grow silent when you want to talk about the perfume of a happy memory, the perfume of the shadow, of the cosmic scent of emptiness. The idea was to grasp the ungraspable, to explore abstraction, to make the invisible visible, to make the air vibrate. This unending territory transports us into the total unknown, to that far off place that sends us back into our unconscious, to pure spirit.” Ph.S
