PHILIPPE STARCK, SPONSOR OF THE 7th EDITION OF LUMINA LIGHT FESTIVAL

For the 7th edition of Lumina Light Festival, Ocubo, Municipality of Cascais and Philippe Starck launched this year’s festival. 

ABOUT LUMINA

The 7th edition of Lumina Light Festival will take place from 21st to 23rd of September in Cascais, Portugal. LUMINA is a unique event in Portugal that recreates the city’s urban space with shows of light and colour, multimedia projections and interactive installations.

“Colours & Forms” is the theme that will move the creativity of the invited artists in this edition of Lumina Light Festival 2018.

As the president of the jury, Starck announced the winner of the Lumina Design Contest. Selected among 22 contestants, Floating Refraction by BLECAUTE was rewarded for his creativity and his innovative approach to use light to guide the visitors along the festival.

He/She will receive an award of 2.500 euros, as well as 10.000 euros for the production of the work.
