PHILIPPE STARCK RECEIVES THE “LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD” FROM FRAME MAGAZINE.

During the 2019 Frame Awards, Philippe Starck received a “Lifetime Achievement Award” in honor of his contribution to the industry of design and architecture.

Philippe Starck, world famous creator with multifaceted inventiveness, is always focused on the essential, his vision: that creation, whatever form it takes, must improve the lives of as many people as possible. This philosophy has made him one of the pioneers and central figures of the concept of “democratic design”.

Implemented by Frame magazine, a support dedicated to interior design, architecture, product design and exhibition design, the Frame Awards identify and honor the best interior projects in the world. The work is judged by industry players: interior designers, architects, retailers, hotel providers, cultural institutions and educators. A total of 35 awards were presented during the ceremony in Amsterdam including the honorary award for Philippe Starck.
