LE MEURICE : MENTAL SPACE OF POETRY AND FERTILE SURPRISES
Tuesday May 3rd, Philippe Starck, his daughter the artist Ara Starck, Franka Holtmann General Manager of the hotel and Alain Ducasse three-star chef, inaugurated the new public spaces of Le Meurice.
A new renovation that complements that of 2007, where the public spaces of the first Parisian palace had been totally redesigned by Starck. In 2016, a creative and aesthetic thread unfold from one salon to the next, enabling a new echo, a new conversation between spaces.
“The new project aims to explore more deeply, and in all possible ways, the surrealist universe that is the life, the structure and the soul of Le Meurice. If God is in details, the devil of surrealism is too. Each shadow, each fall of this place reveals a fertile surprise for the imagination of its inhabitants. Le Meurice is a mental space where everything is poetry, allusion, reference, reflection and diffraction. Where the air is vibrating like a mysterious little music, captivating and friendly.
